A baby travel system is usually either a matching set of Pram and Car Seat, or in some cases a Pram which has a built in car seat that can be removed and also used in a car.
This was a brilliant invention, if you can find them cheap enough they tend to save you considerable expense from having to buy a pram and car seat separately.
This is a godsend.
A Baby Travel System if you want to be able to use it for a decent amount of time must have a reversible car seat, with a weight limit of over 20lbs. Otherwise once your baby hits around 6 months to a year old they will be too big.
If you’re not worried about the car seat but still want to be able to use the pram without it, make sure to remove the car seat before you buy it and make sure there is still a standard seat underneath.
Also always check to make sure the design is not faulty, as in your baby should not be exposed to any metal bars or hard objects in which he or she could bump their heads when the pram or car seat gets a little bump.
