Nursing & Glider Chairs

Depending on a family’s income it can be hard to decide on an affordable chair for your upcoming or current baby nursing.
There’s so many different chairs, so many different stores, and usually your not even sure where to start looking.
First we would like to say never buy a used chair unless checked by a safety specialist. You never want to rely on something for helping you with your baby if you don’t know where it’s been or what could have been done to it.
If you can’t afford a chair there are many groups in which help mothers find things they need for their baby. If you need a chair but cant afford one ask your baby doctor, they should be able to give you any numbers for any help you can find.
We really like big bulky chairs that do not recline and only rock slightly as they are ideal for anyone. These chairs can be very comfortable and also the bottom of the chair is usually 100% to 99% inaccessible to infants because it doesn’t lean back far enough. This is a good trait in rocking chairs because you can still use it to rock but don’t have to worry about your child crawling underneath and getting seriously injured to even death.
Your standard wood glider which is often the most affordable is also an acceptable chair but usually they do not have any means to prevent you from falling backwards though. So we would recommend if you get this type of chair to keep its back close to a wall and never leave your children unsupervised around the chair because of the easily accessible joints.
